Alright. If you have a Psychology class, you just did this activity today. I thought it was pretty fun, so I'm going to show it to you guys. Basically it's an explanation of how genes work. Genes are represented with the first letter of what it controls (ex. the gene for freckles would be F). This letter is capital if the gene is dominant and lowercase if it's recessive (ex. F would mean freckles and f would mean no freckles). Here's what we're going to do. For the first step, I'm going to give you some genes and you're going to invent "parents" for yourself. You're going to attribute 10 dominant or recessive genes for each of your parents. After you do that, tell me, and I'll give you the next step. Here are the genes.

You're going to attribute one for each of your parents. It doesn't matter which one has which, they just need one.

EXAMPLE:

Once you do that, I'll give you the next step.

mother: S, V, N, a, r, E, H, c, F, and t
father: s, V, N, a, R, e, H, c, f, and t.
