Skyfire

[Thought it was time for a forum game. The idea for this one came to me in a dream, actually. I know it sounds silly, but it's true. Here's the lore.]

It's late. You're at home alone, bored on the computer. It's a beautifully clear night; every star is shining brilliantly. You're mindlessly scrolling Facebook, when suddenly you see a purple streak out your window and hear a large crash. Some car alarms are going off and some dogs are barking wildly. You run to your window and find that whatever fell landed in a pond nearby. For some reason, no one seems to be waking up to investigate as well. You think you might be able to get to it before anyone else does.

You don't know what shape it is, but you bolt out of your house and down to the pond. You're about to dive in, but you stop yourself. Half the water is frozen over! You'll freeze to death, and for all you know, the object is at the very bottom of the pond. You'll need to find a way to get it out without getting too wet.

This obviously isn't working as a game. I might make it a story later.
